Symposium on Advanced Statistical Methods for Medical Data

2nd International Conference on Statistics: Theory and Applications (ICSTA’20)

We are pleased to announce a dedicated Symposium on Advanced Statistical Methods for Medical Data at the 2nd International Conference on Statistics: Theory and Applications (ICSTA’20). Increasingly, with the ease of data collection due to technological developments, we need more advanced methods to analyze complex high-dimensional medical data. In this session, speakers will inform the audience on recent developments in novel methods proposed for the analysis of these complex medical data. The methods that will be discussed in the session will include joint modeling of survival and longitudinal data, variable selection for high-dimensional medical data, and new nonparametric (Bayesian) models for functional data analysis.
